Family Pleads for Help Finding Missing Man After Highway 74 Crash
Jennifer Fagan is seeking help in locating her brother, Casey Fagan, a 54-year-old man who lived in La Quinta for a couple of months. He disappeared after crashing his car along Highway 74 last week.
According to Jennifer, a Riverside County Sheriff's Department spokesperson informed her that Casey was driving home from San Diego when he crashed his car on October 7 near mile marker 88 in the evening. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene that night.
Jennifer stated that witnesses told investigators Casey appeared intoxicated and injured. He left the scene after the crash and has not been seen since. Search teams with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department deployed a search party to the area, including about 20 people on foot, cadaver dogs, and helicopters, but were unable to find him.
