Lewis Hamilton was 'really surprised' by one thing Fernando Alonso did before his F1 debut.
During the 2007 F1 season, Alonso joined McLaren after winning back-to-back drivers' championships with Renault.
Ron Dennis signed Alonso and also introduced Lewis Hamilton, McLaren's young talent, to F1 after he won the GP2 championship.
Hamilton and Alonso had a tense intra-team battle, ultimately costing each other the title, which was won by Kimi Raikkonen.
