Election Day: How and Where to Vote
On election day, Edmontonians will head to the polls to elect their next mayor and council.
To participate, you must be 18 years old or older, a Canadian citizen, and live in Edmonton on election day, with that location listed as your place of residence.
- Check your eligibility to vote
- Find your polling station using our election guide by inputting your address
- Take the Taproot survey to see which candidates you align with if you're still undecided
Voters must show identification, such as an Alberta driver's licence or another authorized form, at the voting station.
Those who missed the online registration deadline can still register or update information at their assigned voting station.
Voting stations are open from 9am to 8pm.
