John Elkann expressed his full confidence in Frederic Vasseur from Washington, where he attended the 50th anniversary of the National Italian American Foundation.
Following comments by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in Austin, Elkann rallied around Vasseur amid rumors of Chris Horner's possible arrival in Maranello.
Vasseur, who renewed his multi-year contract with Ferrari this summer, will remain at the helm of the Maranello Sports Management ahead of new technical regulations next year.
