Chiefs Chapel: A New Sunday Tradition for Fans at Arrowhead
For years, Chiefs fans had to choose between attending church and watching their team play at Arrowhead on Sundays.
In 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt introduced the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of Arrowhead Stadium, to address this issue.
The Chapel hosts a non-denominational worship service every Sunday morning when the Chiefs have a home game scheduled at noon.
“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”
said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City.
Thanks to dedicated volunteers, the Chiefs Chapel has become a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans, drawing larger crowds each week.
