Murder Investigation in South London
A young man in his 20s was stabbed to death in south London, prompting a murder investigation.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to Rushey Green, Catford, just after 3am on Wednesday to respond to the incident.
According to Scotland Yard:
The man was taken to hospital for further treatment, but sadly died. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The London Ambulance Service treated the victim for stab wounds.
