India Fined for Slow Over-Rate in CWC25
India has been fined 5% of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during their ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 game against Australia.
The sanctions were imposed by Michell Periera of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees after the game in Visakhapatnam.
- On-field umpires: Sue Redfern and Nimali Perera
- Third umpire: Kim Cotton
- Fourth umpire: Jacquline Williams
India were ruled to be one over short of the target after time allowances were taken into consideration.
