Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Releases Statement On "Gayun Case"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has issued a statement regarding the "Gayun case", a new wave of repressions by Lukashenko's regime against Belarusian citizens, as reported by the Belarusian Human Rights Center "Viasna".
The Ministry regretfully notes that in Belarus, "even a carelessly spoken Belarusian word" can become a basis for repressions.
Lukashenko's Belarus became an accomplice in the unleashing of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, for which "it must necessarily bear its share of responsibility for the commission of this crime and all subsequent atrocities against the Ukrainian people.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasizes Lukashenko's regime's responsibility in the conflict.
