The Hill I'll Die On - Why I Believe Candy Corn is the Greatest Halloween Candy
Those triangles of orange, white and yellow are so good.
As a resident of East Texas, I need to voice a concern I've been having lately. A concern that many of you have but are unwilling to be vocal about. A concern that many people this time of year are missing out on one of the greatest joys of the season.
It's about a candy that doesn't get any respect at all. It's a candy that too many say belongs in the trash instead of on the table. That candy is none other than candy corn.
It's time to put some respect on the GOAT of Halloween candies.
As an insulin-dependent diabetic, I know it's strange that I'm writing about a candy that's pure sugar. That doesn't take away from the fact that I like to have a piece every once in a while. I am not afraid to say that I love candy corn.
About 40% of you reading this are probably throwing up in your mouth right about now.
