Israeli troops have been accused of opening fire and killing Palestinians less than 24 hours after the Gaza ceasefire took effect.
Authorities reported that at least seven people had been killed by Israeli gunfire in two separate incidents on Tuesday morning.
The Israel Defence Forces confirmed its soldiers shot dead “suspects” in the Shejaiya neighbourhood of Gaza City.
Under the first phase of the peace deal, the Israeli military will remain in control of nearly 60 per cent of the besieged Palestinian territory.
