Healey Orders Review of Gas and Electric Bills
Maura Healey has instructed state utilities regulators to review gas and electric bills line by line to reduce or remove charges that do not benefit ratepayers.

She emphasized that every dollar must be justified, and charges without a real customer benefit should be removed. The Department of Public Utilities has been ordered to review each charge to determine if it can be eliminated, reduced, or mitigated.
