UVA psychiatrist Bruce Greyson studies near-death experiences and their impact on people's lives.
A near-death experience can greatly influence someone's life, and Greyson, along with a team of researchers at the UVA School of Medicine's Division of Perceptual Studies, examines both the experiences and ways to support those who have them.
“Most who have near-death experiences say, ‘I can’t tell you what happened. There are no words for it,’ and I believe that,”
Greyson said, adding that the after-death experience is likely beyond human imagination, making speculation pointless.
