Ethiopia High-level Delegation Holds Productive Discussions
A high-level Ethiopian delegation, led by Minister of Finance Ahmed Shide, held discussions with World Bank Vice President for Eastern and Southern Africa Ndiame Diop during the 2025 World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings.
Delegation members included Eyob Tekalign, Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia, and Teklewold Atnafu, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister.
The two sides exchanged views on Ethiopia’s macroeconomic reforms, current projects, and future collaboration areas.
Minister Ahmed expressed appreciation for the World Bank’s technical and financial support, acknowledging its role in advancing Ethiopia’s development agenda.
