Norfolk Author Cracks Cold Case of Missing Northern Explorer
Canadian explorer Hubert Darrell disappeared in the Northwest Territories in 1910 while on a solo expedition to map the western Arctic.
A search of the northern wilderness found no trace, and Darrell soon vanished from history books.
Author and adventurer Adam Shoalts followed clues to shed light on Darrell's fate, chronicling the search in his book "Vanished Beyond the Map".
The book launches on October 14 at the Playhouse Cinema in Hamilton, followed by an event in Norfolk County.
Shoalts ventured into the perilous land that swallowed up his predecessor.
