German Start-up Unveils Fusion Blueprint
Gauss Fusion has released a conceptual blueprint for the development of its GIGA fusion power plant, detailing its journey to commercial reality by 2045.
Backed by €18bn in estimated investment and strong European partnerships, the plan envisions a stellarator-based reactor to achieve clean, reliable, and commercially viable fusion energy.
The Conceptual Design Report (CDR) comprises over 1,000 pages of technical detail, developed over three years with support from industrial partners from across Europe.
